I'm stuck in pennsyltucky for now. I almost moved out to Seattle in the late 80's for school. Visited the place a couple times, fell in love with the Olympic mnt. range and rain forest across the sound. And of course Seattle is always producing incredible music. Must be the weather or something!?!

ha. you rule. that was the best answer. I actually posted this forever ago and forgot to check .. austin was an idea of a warm place to move away from seattle last yearish. I decided I need the ocean nearby.. lots of hipsters.. jesus.. same with seattle. I do need to visit. I will be doing that soon. probably in a month or so.. Good psych scene.. thats awesome.. i am a huge part of that in seattle. i am megan by the way.

Well i am from Austin and basically joined tribe to reply to your post. Austin is a lot of fun, good shows always come through, it's mega slow compared to a normal city because basically everyone is stoned all the time. There is a significant amount of diversity and basically everyone gets along. It's easy to avoid hipsters(which there are a lot of) and there are lots of drugs all around you to get your hands on. I would say there is a really good psych, stoner, experimental following here. It's at least worth a visit.
