saw High on Fire in Minneapolis on the 13th. It was great. The
new material is awesome, fast and complicated. I think they
only played like 3 older songs(Baghdad, Speed Wolf, Nemisis)
and I think a Priest cover, it was fast and really loud so I'm
not sure what song it was. Joe Preston did a fine job, he
looked kind of outta place, but he was great. Bongzilla killed
as well. A great all aroung show, spent about a C-note on booze.

Tue, August 17, 2004 - 1:25 AMI must have tipped alot, I was so drunk and stoned by the end of
the night it was unreal. Drove like 300 miles to get there, got
lucky and found a floor to crash on in Minneapolis. Thanks ladies. -

Tue, August 17, 2004 - 10:59 AMSounds like you had a pretty spectacular night all around, dude! Thank god it's August tho, eh? Driving 300 miles from NoDak to Minnea-no-place in the snow would suck bad. -

Wed, August 18, 2004 - 10:14 AMIt does suck, I've done it many times. Part of the "fun" of living here is the ass weather and the fact you have to drive a long way for entertainment. I guess I could have saved my cash and went to see Metallica and Godsmack at the Fargodome last night for $80. I'm sure it was great time. Nothing like paying $80 to watch a bunch of assholes suck.
