Wed, July 21, 2004 - 3:11 PMFWIW, I met the guy before he took off. He's quite serious about his beliefs & outlooks. A few years later, when we saw the band open for Motorhead/Black Sabbath, he put on one very amazing & entertaining show.

A friend of mine knew him also before he hit it big, when they were just a buncha quasi-shock-metal guys from Florida. She said the same thing... that he was remarkably nice, polite, etc.
However-
The marketing tactic is all in the court of the record label. He's just along for the ride... (Parker Posey, drugs, stardom... can't say I wouldn't do the same necessarily!) -
